Abstract

The joint Fourier transform correlator (JFTC) architecture1-3 is of great interest since prior knowledge of the target is not required. However spurious peaks in the output plane have been reported from the use of binary SLMs for recording the joint power spectrum4. In this work, we analyze various causes for these kinds of anomalous results.
