High-Speed Pattern Recognition: An Application of Time-Domain Optical Memories

Not Accessible

Abstract

The demonstrated dual ability of a time-domain optical memory (TDOM) to store and process two-dimensional images1-4 makes it an ideal candidate for high-speed pattern recognition. We present here experimental results demonstrating its potential for such applications.
