Towards Distribution of Memory-Compatible Polarization Entanglement Over Long Distances

Abstract

We have developed a portable, cavity-enhanced, telecommunication photon-pair source, which is coupled with polarization compensation enabling robust, high-fidelity entanglement. We have deployed this source on our three-node long-distance test-bed to distribute entanglement over 140km.
