Microresonator Based Discrete- and Continuous-Variable Quantum Sources on Silicon-Nitride

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate the generation of correlated photon-pairs in the visible and of quadrature-squeezed states in silicon-nitride microresonators. These devices provide the primary quantum states for discrete- and continuous-variable quantum information processing.
