Abstract
Because the spatial power spectrum of an object can be estimated from photon-limited speckle images of the object, and because any shift-and-add image is ideally a convolution of the true image with some (unknown) psf, and because blind deconvolution of a single blurred image is always feasible in principle, self-calibrating bias-removal schemes are possible for photon-limited shift-and-add images, as will be demonstrated theoretically in this paper.
