Schmidt-mode and Stokes-vector representations of biphoton polarization qutrits

Abstract

Schmidt modes of biphoton polarization qutrits are found in a general form. Representation in terms of Schmidt-mode Stokes vectors at the Poincaré sphere is suggested. Schemes of experiments for measurements and practical applications are discussed.
