High-performance narrowband filter for atom-resonant quantum light generation

Abstract

Spectral filters are indispensable elements in many quantum optics experiments. We present a Faraday anomalous dispersion filter based on optical properties of atomic vapor, which surpasses conventional interference filters in terms of key figures of merit.
