Phonon-assisted quantum interference in semiconductor tunneling structures

Abstract

Photoluminescence experiments have shown that nonresonant tunneling between the narrow well (NW) and the wide well (WW) in asymmetric semiconductor double quantum wells (ADQWs) contributes to the relaxation of the NW population.1
