Abstract
During the past several years there has been a great deal of interest in the dynamical behavior of Fabry-Perot-like resonators because of the variety of nonlinear phenomena ocurring in those structures. Most of the theoretical investigations were restricted to instantaneous Kerr-like nonlinearities. But more realistic material models that incorporate the finite response time of the nonlinearity have led to new effects as Hopf bifurcations.1
