Abstract
In parametric-downconversion luminescence, one photon incident in a nonlinear crystal is spontaneously converted in two simultaneous photons (signal and idler beams). It was shown recently that Young's double-slit interference patterns can be detected by performing coincidence measurements between the signal and the idler.1 The degree of visibility obtained with a double slit placed at the signal beam can be nonlocally controlled through the idler beam.
