Abstract
The study of the dynamics of hot carriers in semiconductors is of interest because it helps in understanding the basic scattering processes that these carriers undergo before reaching thermalization. Most of the experimental studies reported to date deal with GaAs and related compounds1 because of their important technological applications in electronics and optics.
