Plasmonics for Membrane Proteins?

Abstract

Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy with plasmonic nanoparticles is a powerful technique for determining protein conformation, but at present cannot probe membrane proteins. We have developed a technique which extends SERS to membrane proteins.
