Slow light enhanced slotted photonic crystal waveguide

Abstract

Slotted waveguide with slow light effect in photonic crystal composed of hexagonal arrangement of square air holes on SOI substrate has been proposed. The proposed structure has high group index and low Group Velocity Dispersion.
