Fabrication of Bragg Gratings in Tapered Multimode POF at 248 nm irradiation

Abstract

We report experimental results of our attempts to fabricate Bragg gratings in multimode polymer fibers by following unique method of etching and tapering to reduce the cladding diameter and exposing the tapered fiber to 248 nm irradiation.
