Abstract

Many of the phenomena observed in barium titanate such as an intensity dependence in the absorption coefficient1, changes in the sign of the two-beam coupling coefficient2 and dark decay behaviour can be explained by the presence of secondary centres and simultaneous electron-hole photoconductivity3.
