Abstract

Optical limiting has been an attractive research topic for the past decade but no useable device has yet been evidenced. We propose here the design and the testing of an original device based on photorefractive self-focusing in a Sr.6Ba.4Nb2O6crystal. The experimental setup is described and the testing in the real-use condition evidenced.
