Abstract
Wood’s anomalies related to excitation of guided waves in the thin nonlinear films on by two-wave induced dynamic gratings are considered. It is shown the possibility of single and double Wood’s anomalies in the self-diffraction in the Raman-Nath regime. The theoretical and experimental investigations of these phenomena are presented. The dynamic grating behavior at Wood’s anomalies is caused by local field enhancement due to excitation of guided waves.
