Imaging deep brain hemodynamics and metabolism with Optical Coherence Tomography

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We present advances in deep brain imaging using Optical Coherence Tomography, including dynamic contrast imaging, ~1700 nm imaging for deeper penetration to subcortical layers, and visible light OCT imaging of hemoglobin concentrations and cortical metabolism.
