Quadratic Electro-optical Measurements of Polythiophene Films by a Modified Mach-Zehnder Interferometer.

Abstract

We report the measurement of quadratic electro-optical coefficients of head-to-tail poly(3-dodecylthiophene) using a modified Mach-Zehnder interferometer at 633 nm. We find s1133 = 3.7×10-20 m2/V2 and s3333 = 4. 1×10-20 m2/V2.
