Depositing Highly Adhesive Optical Thin Films on Acrylic Substrates

Abstract

For good adhesion on acrylic, films were deposited by composite deposition. Adhesive properties were evaluated using a cross hatch test. Lower internal stress gave better adhesion; internal stress related to O2 flow rate during deposition.
