Abstract

Spherical mirror can cause severe problem because of aberration. However the surface profile of the mirror can be modified to a desired aspherics by vacuum deposition if a proper mask is set between evaporation source and mirror.13 In this article we propose a mask for making a paraboloid. The monitoring system for deposition will also be described. The result aspherics is tested in a similar way for testing conventional aspherics.
