Abstract
It is difficult to attain a nonpolarizing assembly of optical thin films because the optical admittance of layer for S polarizing component of light waves is not equal to that for P polarizing component when the waves are obliquely incident upon the surface of the layer. The dependence of the admittances on the refraction angle of the waves inside the layer is as fellows: where n1 is the refraction index of the layer, and θ1, the refraction angle.
