Machine Learning Algorithms for Alignment Verification of the Roman Space Telescope

Abstract

Machine learning algorithms are used to analyze shadows of system obstructions to verify the pupil alignment between telescope and instrument. We compare our approach with other methods and report predictions based on a Monte-Carlo analysis.
