CO2 Laser Fabrication of Optical Surfaces on Fiber Optic Devices

Abstract

CO2 lasers are used to fabricate and polish an assortment of optical surfaces directly onto the ends of fiber optic devices used for laser surgery. These surfaces include beam shaping and directing elements.
