Field Demonstration of Disaggregated Optical Network Consisting of ZR+ and Coherent Channels using Power Equalization by Switched Gain Equalization Controlled Amplifiers

Abstract

We report a field trial of 400G-ZR+ QSFP-DD-DCO and ten coherent channels, interoperating with oFEC between two different vendors. We equalize the power by switched gain equalization controlled amplifers. Field trial is verified by simulations.
