Demonstration of Parallel Service Re-Provisioning over Advanced Reservation enabled Software Defined Optical Transport Networks

Abstract

For the first time, re-provisioning is introduced into advanced reservation enabled optical transport networks as a novel perspective for optimization. Demonstration results show parallel service re-provisioning (PSRP) can improve the efficiency of network resource significantly.
