High-performance reflective liquid level sensor based on titled fiber Bragg grating inscribed in the thin-core fiber

Abstract

A simple and compact reflective liquid level sensor based on a tilted fiber Bragg grating (TFBG) inscribed in a thin-core fiber is proposed and demonstrated. High sensitivity and temperature immunity are experimentally achieved.
