Abstract
A soft-glass spiral PCF design is analysed using the FEM approach showing γ >2000 W−1km−1 at 1550nm and 4000 W−1km−1 (1064nm). The design exhibits low, flat anomalous dispersion (~15 ps/nm.km and dispersion slope~0.25ps/nm2.km) at 1064nm.
