Periodic Signal Processing Using a Brillouin Gain Comb

Abstract

A new technique for processing periodic optical signals is presented. A Brillouin gain comb selectively modifies the harmonic content of the signals, enabling unique results such as Brillouin amplification without delay or slow and fast light with high gain.
