A Tunable Ultra-Narrowband Filter for Subcarrier Processing and Optical Monitoring

Abstract

A tunable filter with power complementary outputs and optimal isolation is presented that operates on multiple tones. A triple-peak filter with sub-GHz bandwidth and over 25 dB isolation was realized with sub-milliwatt thermo-optic switching power.
