High-Spectral-Efficiency DWDM Access Network Supporting 10-Gbps Access Services

Abstract

A DWDM access network that supports 10-Gbps services is presented. The network scalability is numerically clarified by using 4-ary ASK, which achieves the spectral efficiency of 0.8 bps/Hz as compared to conventional NRZ.
