Abstract

In our previous work we have shown the efficiency of our ion-exchange technology in producing waveguide amplifiers in erbium/ytterbium (Er/Yb) co-doped phosphate glass,1 as well as in producing lossless splitters and lossless wavelength combiner modules.2,3
