Temperature insensitive slotted air-mode photonic crystal cavity

Abstract

We propose a temperature insensitive slotted air-mode photonic crystal (PhC) cavity. Highly temperature independent performance simulated to be less than 2pm/K over large temperature range can be achieved by overlaying a PMMA cladding.
