Squeezing in Bistable Optical Systems

Not Accessible

Abstract

It is known that optical bistable systems are capable of generating squeezed states of light ([1] [2]). Perfect squeezing is achievable for the outgoing field in the following configuration: operation near the critical point of a single-ended cavity containing a (noise-free) dispersive non-linear medium ([3]).
