Transport modeling of multiple quantum-well photorefractive devices

Abstract

The combination of large electro absorptive effects in semiconductor multiple quantum wells (MQW) and photorefractive-like transport offers the promise of producing fast, efficient thin film dynamic holographic materials for such applications as compact free space interconnects and high speed optical processors.1
