Filled-lattice tungsten-bronze materials for photorefractive applications

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Recently we have established that the filled lattice structure (15- and 12-fold sites filled) tungsten bronze (Ba,Sr)6Ti2Nb8O15(BSTN) and Ba2–xSrxK1–y.NavNb5O15(BSKNN) crystals exhibit much faster response than the prototype SBN:60 (partially filled lattice) with substantial optical gain.
