Abstract
Recent results show that combined processes containing electron-nucleus interaction such as near-threshold internal conversion1, electronic-bridge2,3 and inverse electronic-bridge4 processes are expected to be modified by intense electromagnetic fields of optical and x-ray frequencies. Using the similarly recent result5 obtained for the leading term of the S-matrix element of the resonant, inverse electronic-bridge process the effect of optical and x-ray lasers on some nuclear isomeric transitions, which seem to be promising, are investigated. The possibility of the effect of synchrotron radiation on those processes, which contain bound-free electronic transitions is also discussed and the result obtained is compared to the effect made by the optical and x-ray lasers.
