X-ray streak cameras with a high spatio-temporal resolution

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

High resolution x-ray streak cameras based on bilamellar tubes have been developed for picosecond laser interaction studies performed at CEL-V. We now have a whole family of such cameras: C 850, C 851 (in which the tube features a reflection photocathode), and C 750 (where deflection plates of the tube are replaced by a 50-Ω meander stripline, which allows higher sweep speeds).
