Abstract

Deriving optical flow information from image sequences is an important early step in image understanding. This information is also very useful directly in a number of image processing tasks. We have developed a low-level intensity based algorithm for computing optical flow. This computation proceeds in a coarse-to-fine manner within an image pyramid representation.
