Desynchronisation-induced Raman Cavity Solitons in Fibre Resonators

Abstract

We investigate novel cavity solitons that arise in pulse-pumped fibre resonators in the presence of desynchronisation and stimulated Raman scattering. The solitons possess numerous advantageous characteristics and could enable novel route to ultrafast pulses.
