Ultrafast nonlinear Kerr effect in type-II superconductors

Abstract

We study the ultrafast nonlinear Kerr effect and high-harmonic generation in type-II superconductors. Superconductors exhibit ultra-high χ(3) due to progressive Cooper pairs destruction.
