Abstract
We have developed a technique that allows splicing of liquid core optical fiber (LCOF) to standard single-mode optical fiber with low loss (<1dB). As an example, we performed inverse Raman spectroscopy in a CCl4 filled LCOF that is spliced to SMF28 on both sides.
