Berry Curvature Engineering in Optical Resonator Networks using Long-Range Hopping

Abstract

We propose the engineering of the Berry curvature in optical resonator networks by exploiting long-range hopping. By generalizing the Hofstadter model, we examine the effect of hopping orders for the design of topological photonic circuits.
