Lithium Niobate Nanophotonic Waveguides for Ultraviolet to Mid-Infrared Supercontinuum

Abstract

We design thin-film lithium niobate waveguides that leverage geometric dispersion engineering, chirped poling and both the χ(2) and χ(3) nonlinearities to produce supercontinuum extending from the ultraviolet to the mid-infrared.
