Mid-wave Infrared Generation by Difference Frequency Mixing of Continuous Wave Lasers in Orientation-Patterned Gallium Phosphide

Abstract

Continuous wave frequency generation was observed for the first time in orientation patterned gallium phosphide (OP-GaP). DFM of 1064-nm and 1550-nm CW fiber lasers produced 3390 nm output.
