Abstract

We generate optical frequency comb from a harmonically mode-locked laser using a bismuth-based erbium-doped fiber and a bismuth-based nonlinear fiber. A 10GHz-spaced frequency comb with a 10dB bandwidth of 300GHz and 3.0ps pulses are obtained.
