Abstract

Recent progress in ultrahigh-Q and ultrasmall cavities based on photonic-crystal slabs have impacts on various phenomena. We report our recent investigations of all-optical bistable switching, novel adiabatic wavelength conversion and opto-mechanical energy conversion employing these nanocavities.
