Abstract

Time evolutions of photoexcitations in several poly diacetylenes (PDAs), which attracted great interest in recent years because of their large and fast optical nonlinearities, were investigated by femtosecond absorption spectroscopy [1-4]. Here in this paper we for the first time could resolve four different nonlinear optical responses in PDAs both time and frequency dependence.
