Abstract
Chirped pulse amplification (CPA) is a well known technique for producing high power short optical pulses1,2 suitable for nonlinear optical experiments. Using such techniques with bulk amplifier systems it is possible to produce femtosecond optical pulses with terawatts of peak power3.
