Abstract

We report on the development of a tunable microresonator-based sub-kHz extended cavity diode laser (ECDL) optimized for stabilization using an ultrastable high-finesse super-cavity. We demonstrate the pre-stabilized ECDL generating an undistorted error signal at the ring-down time scale of the super-cavity and realize locking the laser to the super-cavity.
